About Me
I live in Northern Virginia, near Washington, D.C. I've been a lifelong fan of the visual arts — photography, movies, graphic novels, live music, and theatre.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Virginia Tech. While there, I immersed myself in the student-run media department. I was a staff photographer for the newspaper, yearbook photo editor, and a DJ at WUVT 90.7 FM.
After interning at the Central Intelligence Agency and Ventana Productions, I came to work at Mind & Media, Inc. Here I learned from a great creative team how to transform my visual media skills into producing, filming, editing, and animating motion graphics. In 2026, I completed certifications in Graphic Design from CalARTS and Advanced AI Filmmaking from Curious Refuge.
As a father of two teenage children, they've reacquainted me with my passion for live music, graphic novels, and theatre. I've enjoyed taking them to concert venues and finding independent comic book stores. In turn, they've enjoyed sharing their favorite music with me - when I'm not being too embarrassing!
I've worked with DHS CISA, Kansas State National Guard, Comcast, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, but the people who sit across from the camera and share their stories with me — that's my favorite part of media production.
